Founded in 1953, Guangxi College of Education lies in Nanning City, the capital city of Guangxi province.

With 9 departments, namely Chinese Literature, Mathematics & Computer Science, Educational Management, Politics, Foreign Languages, Tourism & Environment, Modern Educational Technology, Arts Department, and Culture & Communication Department, the college offers 15 undergraduate programs and 26 secondary training programs, among which there are programs especially designed for adults, including corresponding programs.

After many years of development, Guangxi College of Education now has ten thousand students and 317 staff members.

There are 115 teachers with titles of professor or associate professor out of the 146 full-time teachers.

Since 2000, Guangxi College of Education has started to offer Chinese language program that has open up China to

foreign students, to really see and learn about China. Students from Europe, the United States, Korea, Malaysia and Singapore studied Chinese here.

Students can choose to live in the dorm and eat in the dinning hall at very reasonable price. Residency with a local family is available too, but should apply one month ahead.　　　

Students are welcome to participate in all college initiated activities. In addition to the language classes, other classes like Taiji/Chinese Air Boxing, Calligraphy, and Chinese Painting are also available. Many interesting and exciting trips, various activities are arranged and organized for the students.
